What is reading room?
Over time with the support and contribution of donating members, we have created a small collection of 800+ books at our studio. On request of our members, wishing to sit in silence, browse the bookshelves at the studio and read, we opened this space for readers.
How can I access the reading room?
This is a small setup where we accommodate 15 readers at a time a seat is booked by prior appointment only.

Open on select Saturdays as per member volunteers availability.

Decorum
- Complete silence has to be maintained to ensure other readers are not disturbed.
- Please do not bring books from outside to read in the reading room (except books for donation).
- No outside food or beverages are permitted in the studio.
Can I bring my own books?
No. We are opening with the sole purpose of promoting the concept of donating and reading donated books.
Can I donate books?

Quoting a member, “If it’s at the library all the members including me will be able to read. At my home, it will be only for a few people.”
Can I donate money?
Gladly yes. The money received as donation is used to purchase books for the reading room, to maintain the library and its expenses.
Can I work or prepare for my exam in the reading room?
No. That is a different category of reading room meant for studies and work. In this reading room people who wish to browse and read from the collection are welcome.
